The union’s primary goal is to act in the best interest of our members to provide a safe and effective resource for town residents.  We constantly strives to assure that the department meets nationally recognizes standards and work together with department and town leadership to meet this and many other challenges that occur in our changing world. 

We are proud to provide community service through public education, sponsorship of youth sports, educational scholarships, and other programs advocating safety to older adults and children.  Several of these programs are funded through the union’s Firefighters Aide & Relief Fund with generous donations from residents and local businesses.
